A good general medical reference on the internet is the Mayo Clinic for news on diseases, treatments, drugs and diet.
I had sinus infections frequently after moving to Seattle. They would last for weeks, until I used antibiotics from a physician. Now I cleanse my nose using a Neti pot and don’t have sinus infections.
Consider putting a garlic clove in the Neti pot water. Use distilled or sterile water. Another water option that I use is boiling water for about five minutes and allow to cool before using in Neti pot. I boil the water in a separate container.
Let the garlic clove soak in the water. Consider using this mild garlic water and sea salt in the Neti pot if you have a sinus infection. This has helped me when I had sinus infections. I don’t use garlic for typical nasal congestion. I haven’t used garlic for years.
As always, a disclaimer. This is not medical advice. Please consult with your doctor before using a Neti pot or garlic cloves. If you have sinus congestion, try a Neti pot.
